You are right! We must flood the whole world with the truth about families and the sanctity of marriage! And what better tool than the internet? I was browsing the blog search engine for posts relating to Proposition 8, which was how I stumbled on your blog. In the midst of some very hateful and derogatory diatribes opposing the proposition, it was refreshing to read your clear understanding of this urgent issue.

SPEAKING of marriage, guess what I just found out? I just found out that Marcelo has been telling everyone that we met AFTER our missions at a MISSION REUNION. WWWWTTTFFFF?!?!?! I was SHOCKED to hear him say that and I thought that he had made a mistake so I corrected him and was like "Oh, he made a slight grammar error: we met ON our missions." And everyone thought it was funny that he had made that "mistake".
And then I later confronted him about it and was like "did you mean to say that?" And he was like "Yeah, that's what I tell everyone. I don't want people to know we met on our missions"
and I was BAFFLED!! Like absolutely FLOORED!! And I was like "Marcelo we were GOOD missionaries!! We didn't do anything besides MEET on our missions. There were no Emergency Transfers or secret rendezvous behind the mission office" (however, that kinda sounds fun now that I type it!) "we were good missionaries! Weren't you a good missionary?"
And he said he was. And I know I was so I said we have nothing to be ashamed about. And I told him that if (and when) our kids ask, I'm going to tell them the truth. So he'd better stop lying to everyone else right now.
